Competitive Edge Intensive
Sit in the same chair. Take the same steps. Let’s find out where they can take you.
Every athlete I have ever worked with started somewhere.
Long before the medals, the podiums and the moments everybody else remembers, there was a first conversation. Sometimes it began with an athlete who knew there was more inside them than their results were showing. Sometimes something had changed and they wanted to understand why. Others were already performing at an extraordinary level and simply wanted to know what might become possible if their mind was trained with the same attention they had given their body.
Then there was the tentative phone call, the first meeting and, for many of them, a seat in the same 20 year old black leather chair waiting for you now.
That is where your Competitive Edge begins.
When you sit down with me, I am not interested in telling you to try harder, think positively or become mentally tougher. You’ve probably spent enough of your life pushing already. I want to understand you. I want to know what happens inside your head when the pressure changes, why the athlete who feels completely free in training can sometimes feel different when the result matters and what your mind has learned to do in the moments when you most want it supporting you.
This is where more than 20 years of experience starts working on your performance.
While you’re telling me what happens, I’m already listening underneath it. I’m looking at the words you use, the thoughts attached to them, the feelings they create and the responses that follow, because somewhere inside that sequence are the reasons your mind is producing exactly the performance it currently is. Once we understand the cause, we have something very different to work with.
Your mind was designed first for protection, not podiums. That changes the conversation completely because the nerves, doubts, fears, hesitation or overthinking you’ve been fighting suddenly begin making sense. Instead of asking you to push harder against them, I can show you why they are there, then we begin changing the programs underneath them and strengthening new neural pathways that support the athlete you want available when performance matters.
Across 4 phases… Awareness, Change, Integration and Future… I guide you through the same performance system that has been developed and refined alongside thousands of athletes and 50 World and Olympic Champions. There is a reason I call this an Intensive rather than a series of sessions. We are working towards a result, not watching the clock. A phase may take an hour, it may take longer and occasionally we may decide another meeting gives us the opportunity to do something properly rather than rushing because an appointment was supposed to finish. The process gives us structure, while more than 20 years of experience gives me the flexibility to adapt that structure immediately to you, your age, your sport, your circumstances and what I am seeing and hearing as we work together.
That adaptability matters because this isn’t something being done to you. I want you understanding what we are doing and why it works, because the Competitive Edge is also the beginning of you taking greater ownership of your own mental performance. We create your Peak Performance State together, then I give you the tools, resources, understanding and processes to continue accessing and strengthening it yourself. You begin recognising what your mind is doing, understanding how to influence it and developing responses you can take into training and competition long after you have left my chair.
Ultimately, I don’t want you dependent on me.
I want you standing on a start line, walking onto a field or preparing for the biggest performance of your career knowing how to access what we have created without needing me there to turn it on for you. That’s a very different relationship from continually coming back because you need someone else to make you feel ready. My role is to give you the knowledge, experience, guidance and clarity to increasingly become your own Athlete’s Secret Weapon.
And then your performance gets to tell us what we have created.
For some athletes, the Intensive gives them exactly what they came looking for and they take it from there. For others, the results open another possibility. They experience what changes when their mind begins working differently, see what becomes available in their performance and start wondering what might happen if we continue developing it together. That’s where Performance Partnerships can become the natural next part of the journey, not because you need to stay with me, but because you have experienced enough to decide that you want to.
And I think this is important to understand when you’re considering whether to make that first call.
Those 50 World and Olympic Champions didn’t begin with me as World and Olympic Champions. Some did arrive already operating at the highest levels of their sport, while others were still chasing the performances that would eventually put them there. What connects them isn’t where they started. It is that at some point they were prepared to sit down, become curious about what was happening inside their head and discover what might change when their mind started working with everything they had already trained their body to do.
I’ve had the extraordinary privilege of quietly walking beside athletes from conversations very much like the one you are considering now to podiums, championships and moments that changed their lives. The world gets to celebrate the result. I get to remember the person who first picked up the phone and wondered whether I might be able to help.
Perhaps that’s why I still love that first conversation.
Because neither of us knows yet where yours might lead.
You’ve already invested years becoming the athlete you are. Your skill is there, your preparation is there and somewhere inside you is the reason you’ve found your way to this page in the first place. The Competitive Edge Intensive is your opportunity to invest in the part of your performance that has access to all of it, then leave with far more than the experience of working with me. I want you leaving with a better understanding of yourself, a performance state you know how to access and tools you can continue using as your career evolves.
Take the next step.
The chair is ready. Let’s find your Competitive Edge.
